Divine Word University’s grandaunts were challenged by the institution’s President Fr Jan Czuba to change their way of thinking and make a change.
He challenged the students to contribute to the global community after graduating from the institution. "It is up to each of you to make a change in the community using knowledge and skills you have gained through your studies," said Fr Jan. He said students have been academically equipped with knowledge. Fr Jan challenged the granduands on how privileged they were to come this far and graduate with qualifications in their chosen fields of study. "You had set a target and worked towards it because you had a private and personal mission to achieve your goals," he said. He said the country’s image has been painted differently internationally but it is up to individuals to confront the bad image and make a change for this country. Fr Jan congratulated the 1579 students saying this was another achievement and testimony for the university. "Divine Word University granduants should bear in mind that you are never a loser unless you quit trying and fail," he stressed. Post Courier Comments are closed.
